L'Aventure du Sucre — Rouages colorés (2025)
Sculptural mural commissioned by L'Aventure du Sucre at Beau Plan for the close of 2025. Painted on large cog-and-gear sculptures — a nod to the eco-museum's sugar-mill heritage — the work is layered with vivid endemic Mauritian flora and birds: hibiscus, frangipani, birds of paradise, sugarcane, paille-en-queue, cardinals.
Created over a week of pre-dawn starts (4:30am Thermos in hand) to catch the gentler light, in oil paint, on-site at L'Aventure du Sucre.
